Introduced in 1970, Djarum’s Filtered Clove Black Cigars are machine-made cigars that are famous for the variety of flavors they offer. This one in particular will surprise you with its spicy, wild cherry taste and is quite a lasting smoke. Originating in Indonesia, these filtered cigars are basically a mixture of superior tobaccos rolled with a dash of clove spice. Don’t be alarmed if you hear a crackling noise when you light one up; that’s just the moisture popping out of the cloves due to heat. This crackling is called kretek, and is found with most clove smokes.
These little cigarillo-shaped cigars are medium-bodied and are great to have when you are on-the-go. The natural-colored wrapper is homogenized for a smooth and even-flavored smoke. These little cigars are 3¾ inches in length, with a ring gauge of 24 and are crafted for those quick smoke breaks. If you're enjoying one with dinner, pair it with a medium-bodied white wine.
